Starting Fresh!

It's a new year, and I'm starting fresh. I'm going to put being the worst blogger ever the last three months behind me and go with it!

So, hey there. How is everyone?

There are all kinds of big things on the horizon for the coming month(s).

Brother enlisted in the Air Force last fall and FINALLY got a ship date. He leaves in late March for basic and can not wait to start his Air Force adventure. The family is also very excited for him.

My soldier is waiting on orders to start a training that is a little over a year long on the West Coast. He is excited, and happy for the opportunity. It'll be another Army adventure for us to tackle, and thankfully he'll be somewhere warm again that isn't the middle east!

I'm one week away from starting my last year of college! I have two semesters (and two small summer classes) between me and freedom from school! Good thing, because I'm tired of giving them money.

Lastly, just today I registered online for a 15K road race in upstate NY. Many of my family members on my Dad's side have run this race at some point, and I feel like it's my duty as a family member and a runner to finish this race. More on that later!
