This year for Valentine's Day we celebrated one day early on Sunday. The two of us got dressed up and went to Kincaid's for dinner. We were probably the youngest couple there, but the atmosphere was really intimate and the service was very good.
He had white wine and blackened ahi tuna. I had a raspberry mojito and sirloin chateau with a side of au gratin potatoes. For dessert we split crème brûlée with strawberries and whipped cream. Yum!
We spent the whole weekend laughing and having fun, truly cherishing our last week together for a while. The rest of this week we have preparing and packing to get him all set for his next adventure.
And I'm trying to make school even somewhat important this week so I don't get behind, I'll get into a reading/writing routine next week.
Mostly, I wish I could go with him. But, I have less than a year of school left and then we'll see where we end up in this great country of ours. For now we have to walk on our separate paths until they meet again.
So, here we go! On to tackle the next chapter of our story. More updates of course to come.

That's great that you had a romantic night and weekend together before he had to leave.
